Sports Medicine covers a wide-ranging area of sports related injuries including Achilles Tendon and ACL tears, runner's knee, shin splints and stress fractures. Westchester, New York based Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Steven Zelicof serves as the team physician for World Team Tennis team New York Sport Times and the United States Cycling Federation. Dr. Zelicof also served as a consultant for the PGA and LPGA Champions Golf Tour in 2007 and is the co-director of the Westchester Triathlon.
Dr. Zelicof specializes in the conservative treatment of arthritis and sports injuries. When indicated, he performs reconstructive surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder utilizing advanced minimally invasive techniques including computer navigation.
